I finally finished the quilt, will be posting the pic when I fix a few squares that are facing the wrong way. Hate that when you get something finished and you find a mistake. LOL

We are expecting another storm tonight, Ice!!! So I will have plenty of time to get things done.

Going to be starting a Dishcloth/Scrubber swap soon, can't wait to start that should be fun.
Finished my Getting to know you swap at the Swapper's Ranch. And the square along also, got only 3 of the squares complete.

February 26th...

Woke up this morning to find this. Husband and I just finished clearing it from the driveway, otherwise we wouldn't of gotten out.

Quilt is finally finished

Took me approximately 3 wks to make, of course that meant not getting anything else done.

My Quilt

Got all 400 squares made, now it's time to sl stitching them together. I have 5 rows already together!! Looking good, and so far I am liking the colors I have chosen. :)

WIP'S

Currently I am doing a quilt along at Crochet Happy forum. Have about 100 more squares to make, then I get to sl st all the squares together. My colors for my quilt is Amethyst, Monet, Light Sage and Soft White all in Red Heart yarn.
Hope to put a pic up soon of all the squares so far done. My quilt is called "Memory Star".

So anyways here is the bags of squares that I do have done. Put them in ziplock bags to keep them from getting dirty.

This is for my hubby that is going to be out in the cold for the next 2 wks., as he is learning to drive the Big Rigs. He didn't want there to be a mouth opening. It's made with an I hook, and Red Heart yarn in black.

These are some placemats that I made for a friend of mine. She wanted them blue, and square. You know how hard it is to find square placemats on the net that has a pineapple design in it? It's hard, so I used the pattern in the book called "Complete Guide to Thread Crochet". I used a size 7 hook and size 10 thread in Delft Blue, only using one strand instead of two.
